✧ An Isolation Person is a negative Special Person attachment that occurs with individuals with Schizoid Personality Disorder (SZPD). An Isolation Person is someone who is more often than not a subject to the person with SZPD (pwSZPD)’s negative symptoms, and may be subjected to persistent Devaluation or Splitting. This may be someone who makes the pwSZPD believe that making connections simply isn’t worth it and therefore encourages the pwSZPD to isolate further. This could be because the Isolation Person was an Interest Person gone wrong.✧
